The client's instructions were to design a more attractive entrance area and to develop facilities inside this area for customer-oriented information and activities such as special events, project presentations or exhibitions.
The entrance area was considerably enlarged by redesigning the plinth façade. The actual entrances themselves were moved forward, which clearly separated them from the residents' entrance to the building and simultaneously made them more prominent. The new reception area is connected to a continuously-manned information centre. The rest of the space, partitioned off with movable dividing walls, is available for the activities outlined above.
