These terraced houses were planned to be developed in immediate proximity of a kindergarten on the eastern settlement area of the market town of Kottingbrunn.

The construction of 18 houses was projected, which were - for structuring purposes - split into three smaller groups of six.

The individual units are plastically structured on both fronts and offer different façade formulations. By means of integrated balconies and atrium-terraces on the upper-floor this theme gets interpreted in the roof-landscape, too. The roof formation is determined by these balconies, terraces and pent-roof constructions. Roof-top solar-collectors in cooperation with a heat-pump, are intended to deliver heat energy.
